Court loss for women...repeat of history??

The torch carrier(from Calgary but picture is taken in Victoria) is one of the girl's that CAN NOT compete in our 2010 Olympics..they just lost their court case yesterday...grrrrrr....the boy in red, is her brother ...HE is competing...he said his sister is better than he is!! that is their Dad. They all are from Calgary.
WHEN did women get their right to vote in Canada? yesterday? seems like this court loss takes us back many many years....

Making Mud

I spent Tuesday to late Wednesday evening with my daughter and 3 grandkids...what a fun visit it was...but oh so very busy all the time. I taught Jackson how to 'make mud'....I am a very good Grammer in his books....he was so excited when I added water to the dirt...more water to make it a lake...then put his little cars into the muck and used the little tow truck toy to pull them out....over and over and over again...."no go home"....as he knew that meant he had to have his afternoon sleep!! PRECIOUS MOMENTS for sure.

Spun Yarn

Today one of our Friday Group Knitters brought her 'fresh off the press' spun yarn to show us...it is amazing work... I wrapped it around my neck and wrist and decided to model it as jewellry....the colours are 'wow'...
