The Kiss

Many  years ago, while hiking, I came across this very unusual rock.
For some unknown reason I just had to have it...It is VERY heavy.
It got lugged back to the car and has been in my life ever since.
JUST this weekend, while cleaning my balcony garden..it hit me!!..The Kiss!!
The famous painting by Klimt...

Canada Day AND Aunt Karyn's Birthday Brunch

Auntie Karyn's 48th birthday... I put on the birthday brunch for MY family!
Karyn is thanking Jackson for his 'original painting' to her..very emotional..
He was so excited giving her his painting!!
this truly was a wonderful time together!
Waffles,eggs,bacon,strawberries,blueberries,whipping cream..delicious!
Jackson was VERY impressed to get a cloth napkin!!
The dishes are Janis'...My Mom gave them to her in her will but Janis asked me to use them until they get their home renovations done and they can be put in a safe place there...
yummy!!!  oh yes, the kids got their juice or milk in wine glasses!
After opening presents etc. they all went downtown to enjoy July 1st celebrations.
