First Dentist Appointment

Jackson waiting in the lobby to go for 'his turn' to the dentist. This is his FIRST time there. Charlotte and Christopher went in ahead of him...they came out with 'gifts' so he's thinking this is a good deal....

The dentist walked in and her comment was "Oh! he is soooo cute"

"Open wide...we have to count your teeth"...no problem!
He just did as he was told....then we went to Denny's for
brunch as it was his Mommy's birthday and birthday people get
a free meal at Denny's right on their birth date!!

All done his meal and is ready to 'go'....
Aunty Karyn joined us for brunch...then she took Janis and Jackson shopping
and I took Charlotte and Christopher to my place and we swam for hours...
then played board games...then it was time to head home! A very good day.

recycled unfinished sweater into hat

My niece sent me the body of an unfinished sweater...
I took the bottom patterned section of it...serged it into two adult hats...
picked up the stitches along the top and crowned it into this finished hat...
made two hats out of this unfinished sweater....sooooo nice...pure wool!

Perfect Christmas

notice the train tracks on living room floor...
ThomasTheTrain and all his named cars was Jackson's 'life'....When my friend Henri phoned from Denmark, I asked Jackson if he'd like to talk to him...he flew to the phone and jabbered away...when I took the phone away from him he became upset...took quite awhile for us to realize that he thought he was talking to Henry ..one of the trains....awwwww....

Waiting for Santa to come and fill the stockings
Janis had their home decorated so beautifully.
It was such a good Christmas.
