this is the entrance to my daughter's home..the house located
a fair distance down this road...
the following picture is what they have done to the land directly
to the right of this picture...AMAZING....
We had a picnic by their new lake and it was heavenly.....

A natural spring is oozing out this beautiful turquoise water.
the pond is now 10' deep and will fill to the 20' level before
running thru a culvert to a ditch...AMAZING isn't it!
The kids swim in this pond now..the water is nice and warm in
this hot weather.
I spend all day Tuesday up there..had a picnic by the pond.

OUCH!! OUCH!! Yesterday morning..while going out on my balcony..stepping over the 10" door ledge..I hit my foot/toe on the metal door runner....I actually heard a crack sound and thought/felt/knew "I broke my toe".... the colour changes are amazing! wonder if I will lose the toe nail....a continueing saga.......

A broken toe is something you do not go to the Doctor for....having broken one many many years ago inside my crosscountry ski shoe!!! I had phoned the Dr. and he said "do NOT take off your shoe for a few days..until the swelling goes down"...and that was sound advise...the toe heals itself.

Captain Esther on today's Knitting Cruise!! notice calm waters!
we went to Albert Head...wow...

Trip home on rough waters..in right window is a cruise ship..that's how fast the fog was coming in...it was a good experience for me just to let me know that we do NOT have control of our waters!! The entire day was absolutely fantastic...good company, great food, good conversations..lots of knitting...also spinning!! One lady brought her spinning wheel!!

when the waters got rough, things started flying...sad to see that delicious dessert 'hit the floor'!!!!
Thanks to Marilyn and Michael for an absolutely amazing day....your hospitality was amazing.
So generous of you to share your home with us for one day...looking forward to next year.
